Matt supports these specialist music shops, please keep the high street open as we need our shops open for not just trying a guitar, but specialist advice and quality assurance.

As a music tutor I see too many purchases of cheap and inferior instruments or " I got it cheaper online". Many of these bargains on the internet for less than £100 turn out to have frets in the wrong place (out of tune) and poor die cast metal on tuners, no binding (so the instrument breaks apart) or wood that is so soft that the instrument bends out of tune when the strings are tuned. With a real music retailer, the instrument will be set up properly and checked before it is posted to you or taken away from the shop.

Keeping our local and specialist music shops open or supporting their online side of their own shops guarantees accesories and replacements, especially when you have broken a string or lost a lead. You can also get recordings and browse sheet music before you buy it.
